Occupying this apparently ruined place is Zakaria Jemai, a mysterious-looking gentleman always wearing a hat on his head, called Uncle Zak by everyone; a 60-year-old man from Tunisia who has been living in Italy for more than 30 years, and who since 2011 has been the “guardian” of what has been renamed precisely Zak's Castle.
Molte sono le storie che negli anni sono state tramandate e che coinvolgono la Casa delle Favole, alcune delle quali hanno stravolto proprio lo stesso concetto di favola, affossandolo e trasformando questo luogo in una leggenda grottesca ed inquietante.
...for more than 4 decades the congregation stayed away from the church, refusing to enter, convinced it was haunted and bewitched. All masses were therefore celebrated outdoors in the adjacent main atrium.
